Commissioning a piece is an opportunity to create something deeply personal for your home and the spaces you live within.
I approach each commission as a collaboration, bringing together your ideas, the feeling you want to create, and my own artistic language. Whether inspired by a place, memory, color palette, object or simply a feeling, each piece is thoughtfully developed and created by hand in my Tucson studio.
A collaborative process
While every commission is unique, the process begins with a conversation.
We’ll talk about what you’re drawn to, where the piece will live, your preferred size and palette, and any meaningful details you’d like me to consider. From there, I’ll develop a creative direction that allows your story to become part of the work while still remaining true to my practice.
The goal isn’t to recreate an existing piece, but to make something original that feels distinctly yours.
How it works
01. Share your vision
Tell me a little about what you have in mind, including the space, approximate dimensions, colors, inspiration and anything else that feels important.
02. Develop the direction
Once we decide we’re a good fit, I’ll establish the size, materials, palette and overall direction for the piece.
03. The making
Your piece is created by hand in my Tucson studio. I allow room for intuition and discovery throughout the process so the finished work retains the organic quality found throughout my practice.
04. Bring it home
Once complete, your artwork is prepared for its new home. Shipping, local delivery or pickup details will be arranged depending on your location and the size of the work.
